We come to your home. There is no showroom to visit.

Southside Flooring is a mobile, family run flooring business. We do not have a showroom. Corey comes to your home with samples, measures the actual rooms, checks the subfloor and gives you a written fixed price. You deal with one point of contact from the first measure to the finished floor.

What Bayside homes need from a floor

Old house, new extension

Many Bayside homes are older houses on a timber subfloor, often with a newer slab extension out the back. One house can need two different install methods, and the two floor heights have to meet cleanly at the join. We check both before we quote.

Apartments and noise rules

Apartments and townhouses close to the bay often have owners corporation rules about noise. That usually means an acoustic underlay under hard flooring. Tell us what your building requires and we will quote to suit it.

Humidity and sand

Homes near the water see more humidity and more sand walked in. We will tell you at the quote which floors cope with that and which do not.

No. We are a mobile business. We bring samples to your home so you can see them in your own light, next to your own walls and furniture. The measure and quote is free.

Yes. Tell us your owners corporation rules before we quote. Most buildings ask for an acoustic underlay under hard floors, and we allow for that in the price.

Often we can get close, but we will not promise a perfect match. Old boards change colour with age. We bring samples and show you the closest options on site.

No. Bayside is part of our normal service area.

I was in the weeds of my house renovations, tired, over it and I needed someone to just know someone who could do my floors without me having to do any research.
