A flooring business built on doing the whole job
Southside Flooring started out as a timber flooring specialist. It grew into a full flooring business covering carpet, engineered timber, laminate, hybrid, vinyl planks and carpet tiles. How we work has not changed. We stay your one point of contact from the first measure to the finished floor.
Most of our work comes from homeowners across Bayside and South East Melbourne. We also work for builders and property managers who need a floor done properly and on time. And we do commercial fit outs, where carpet tiles and commercial grade vinyl are usually the right answer.
Southside Flooring is run by Corey Boucher and based in Cranbourne. We are a mobile business with no showroom, so we come to your home with samples. ABN 73 433 765 030.
What we believe about flooring
We think explaining things is what makes customers happy. Choosing a floor is confusing. The wording is often vague on purpose. And most people are comparing three quotes that do not describe the same job.
So we explain the trade offs. We tell you when a cheaper product is fine for your situation, and we tell you when it is not. We show you what is included and what is not, itemised, so you can compare our quote against anyone else honestly.

We test before we order
Concrete moisture testing happens before product is ordered, not after a problem appears. It is the single most common cause of flooring failure.
We itemise everything
Product, underlay, preparation, trims, stairs and rubbish removal are separate lines. You can see exactly what you are paying for.
We say no when it matters
If timber is wrong for your slab, we say so at the quote. Same if hybrid is not the right pick for a room that never sees water. You hear it before we install, not after.
We finish the hard parts properly
Stairs, winders, landings, thresholds and door jambs are where cheap jobs fall apart. They get the same care as the open floor.
We leave it clean
Old flooring removed and taken away, offcuts cleared, site swept and care instructions explained before we drive off.
